Shipping Policy
Squares Hardware offers FREE SHIPPING on most orders over $149 within Canada, subject to conditions. The policy excludes remote areas such as the Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, island locations, and any destination requiring ocean or air freight.
Orders over $149 (before tax) and under our maximum weight limit will ship for free via UPS, Purolator or Canada Post Ground.
If your order doesn't qualify for free shipping or you need it sooner, competitive real-time shipping rates are available at checkout.
Heavy & Excluded Items
Orders over 40 lbs or oversized packages are not eligible for free shipping. You can choose to pick up your order in store by selecting "Store Pickup" at the checkout.
Dimensional weight may apply, meaning some items under 40 lbs may not qualify for free shipping based on size.
We reserve the right to cancel free shipping if the quoted shipping rate is deemed excessive. You will be contacted before your order ships if extra freight charges apply.
Processing Time
We aim to process orders within 24 hours, Monday through Friday.
Delivery Address Accuracy
While we make every effort to ensure accurate and timely delivery, we are not responsible for delays or misdirected shipments caused by inaccurate or incomplete address information. If there is an issue with your address, we will attempt to contact you, but it is your responsibility to provide correct details. Any additional charges resulting from incorrect address information will be the customer's responsibility.
Squares Hardware is not liable for delivery errors due to incorrect shipping details, including but not limited to typos or mistakes in the shipping address, postal code, city, or province. If incorrect information is provided, we will assist in locating the lost shipment.
Damages
If your shipment is damaged, lost, or incomplete, please contact us immediately so we can file the proper claim with the appropriate carrier. Do not accept packages that appear to have been opened or damaged. Keep damaged goods and packaging exactly as they were delivered until further instructions are provided.
Inspect all freight shipments before accepting the contents for any visible damage. If damaged, report it directly to the delivery person and mark the bill of lading as "DAMAGED." All damage claims must be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery.
Special Promotions
During promotional sales and events, selected items may be excluded from the free shipping policy.
Instore Pick up
Instore pick-up is available during all business hours. You will be contacted via email or phone once your order is ready. ID is required for all pick-ups. Please notify us if someone else will be picking up your order on your behalf. Orders not picked up within 30 days will be automatically refunded, minus a 10% processing fee.
